PPC Chairman Do Huu Huy speaks at the meeting.
At the meeting, Pacifico Energy Vietnam Co., Ltd. and its partners proposed an onshore wind power project with a total estimated investment of more than VND 15 trillion.
The investors said they would mobilize the necessary financial, technical and technological resources to implement the project on schedule, with commercial operation expected to begin in 2029, once the project is included in the national Power Development Plan VIII by the competent authorities. They also pledged to comply with Vietnamese law, work closely with relevant agencies and submit all required documents on time.

Chairman Do Huu Huy said Dak Lak welcomes investors with strong financial capacity and relevant experience to explore and develop renewable energy projects that match the province’s potential, advantages and development priorities. He affirmed that the province would work alongside investors and facilitate project development in accordance with the law.
However, he stressed that project proposals must follow the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s guidance, which prioritizes energy projects with favourable conditions for grid connection and land availability, and those that can be implemented promptly.
He also called on investors to conduct thorough and transparent assessments of wind resources and other relevant factors. Throughout the project proposal and implementation process, investors must coordinate closely with relevant departments and agencies and comply with regulations on investment, planning, land use, environmental protection, national defence, security and other applicable legal requirements.
